Weeks 13 and 14 - Training Update


Week 13 began the "peak mileage" phase of my training plan. I've fully embraced the recovery run concept and it seems to be working for me. Here are the numbers:

Total weekly mileage: 67.6 miles
Average Intensity Factor: .854
Total Hours: 12:15
Long run: 16 miles
Miles run on trail/ dirt: Approx. 12
# of Bears: 0
Average weight: 120.5
% body fat: 16%
Average hrs. of sleep: 7.5

Had to retire the shoes after Saturday's rain fest. These puppies are dead.

Week 14 continued to build mileage. Length of tempo run increased, as did number of 1K intervals.

Total weekly mileage: 71.4 miles
Average Intensity Factor: .885
Total Hours: 13:13 (spooky!)
Long run: 18 miles
Miles run on trail/ dirt: Approx. 18
# of Bears: 0
# of Squirrels: 7,000,000
Average weight: 121.2
% body fat: 16%
Average hrs. of sleep: 7.0

These are my very disappointing NEW shoes, the AdiZero Boston. Love the name, LOVE the color scheme, hate the fit.
